The purpose of this position is to facilitate all Human Resource related activities in accordance with my clients policy's as well as state and federal compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with hiring manager to understand personnel duties and define profiles. Assist in preparation of job descriptions, recruits, and screens candidates to fill vacant positions; prepares offer letters.
- Onboarding/Off boarding and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards company goals
- Sets up and maintains all I-9 forms, personnel and benefit files, benefit renewals, policies, and compliance in accordance with Federal and State compliance regulations
- Issue employee notices
- Assist with employee functions
- Maintains PTO and Attendance tracking
- Scan new employee information to their secure online files
- Assist with payroll as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-year minimum experience in a similar position
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or Business and PHR certification preferred
- QuickBooks experience helpful
